K2 has just launched a new single sided, 210mm box gutter with self supporting brace, which has been designed to cope with high volumes of water as we are experiencing more extreme weather patterns in the UK.

This new high volume box gutter will sit alongside the existing two-sided 135mm and 210mm box gutters in response to demand from installers. K2’s box gutters are available in a full array of designs and specifications with the ability to neatly overcome the most challenging of applications including high back and elevated options. This also extends to a 210mm back to back box gutter which uniquely allows conservatories to be built side by side without additional need for fabrication.

The range of K2’s box gutters have been designed with a proven, self supporting brace which eliminates the need for gallows brackets in the majority of installations. The brace efficiently transfers loads from the conservatory roof into the substrate behind the box gutter.

Each box gutter also benefits from a sculptured wall trim for improved appearance, an insulated under cladding to eliminate condensation and cold bridging and an extensive range of injection moulded box gutter adapters for a complete solution. Dedicated aluminium sections allow the eaves beam covers to be continued around the conservatory, whilst giving support for the under cladding.

K2 operates an ongoing programme of research and development with important feedback from fabricators and installers. This dedicated function analyses products, finds new ways in which to make improvements and continues to invest in specialist conservatory products and solutions.
