K2’s first southern regional golf day at Old Thorns, Liphook had to be cancelled due to bad weather, but not to be deterred K2 re-arranged the event albeit on another damp day in October.

A number of K2’s customers and corporate partners defied the weather around the picturesque course in Hampshire and declared the day a resounding success. First place went to John Roberts and Carl Ranns of Eclipse; second place went to Kevin Stallard of Britelite and Stuart Smith of Saje UPVC and third place went to David Doley and Andy Towens of Banbury Windows and Doors. Longest drive came from Gerraint Thomas from TNCC and nearest the pin went to David Doley of Banbury Windows and Doors.

Charles Fox, sales director was on hand throughout the day along with other members of staff from the sales and marketing departments. Charles comments: “It was great to see a good turn out after we were forced to cancel the first event. Networking with customers and partners is an important way to build relationships and with challenging market conditions it helps keep us that little bit closer to them.”

K2 also used the evening dinner as an opportune time to highlight some of the recent product developments such as the new aluminium roof system and to highlight some of the forthcoming product developments.
